At Classic Bandit Restoration, every electro-mechanical cabinet is treated as an engineering artefact. Our Cardiff workshop technicians completely strip the chassis down to the bare steel frame. All mechanical linkage pivots, stepper reel axles, and coin solenoids are ultrasonically de-greased and re-lubricated with high-temperature synthetic silicone grease.

Internal optical sensors are recalibrated using digital oscilloscopes to ensure pinpoint reel stop precision. Original silk-screened belly glass is cleaned with non-abrasive museum conservation solvents, and cabinet locks are replaced with matching brass-barrel keys.

Commercial cabinets originally deployed overseas operate on varying power standards. Our certified electrical engineers in Cardiff remove outdated ballast components and install custom British medical-grade 230V AC toroidal power transformers with thermal cutoff safety switches.

Every machine undergoes full Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) including chassis earth-continuity bonding, insulation breakdown tests at 500V DC, and a 72-hour continuous bench cycle test before receiving its individual serial certification certificate.

Because vintage amusement equipment weighs between 90 kg and 130 kg, standard pallet couriers are completely inadequate. We coordinate dedicated two-person White-Glove transport crews across Great Britain.
